Kesos Tacos has officially arrived in Northwest Austin. The Austin-based taco brand — known for putting queso at the center of everything it serves — opened its second location on December 7, 2024 at 3901 C Spicewood Springs Road, bringing its bold breakfast and lunch menu to the residential neighborhoods of Spicewood Springs.

The opening marks a major milestone for the brand, which first launched in 2014 near the University of Texas campus on MLK Boulevard. The Spicewood Springs location is designed to serve a different side of Austin: families, remote workers, and neighbors looking for a fast, dependable, and genuinely great taco experience in their own backyard.

Founder Jhonatan Aldama was deliberate about bringing Kesos to this part of Northwest Austin. The full Kesos menu is available at the Spicewood Springs location, anchored by the breakfast and lunch tacos that made the brand a neighborhood staple on the east side of campus. Signature options include the Migas Taco, Pork Carnitas Taco, and Fried Avocado Taco — all served with Kesos's signature queso poured on top, not on the side.

Aldama noted that seasonal and limited-time items will rotate through the menu to keep things dynamic and give regulars a reason to keep coming back. The location serves breakfast and lunch, with hours running Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM–7:00 PM.
